HKU Ophthalmology Distinguished Lecture Series: Bioengineering in Ophthalmology by Professor Hao F. Zhang, Department of Biomedical Engineering and Department of Ophthalmology, Northwestern University

Professor Zhang's research interests include optical coherence tomography, single-molecular imaging, ophthalmology, vision science, and genomics. His lab has pioneered two key technologies: visible-light optical coherence tomography (vis-OCT) and spectroscopic single-molecule localization microscopy (sSMLM). These technologies enable multi-scale investigation of a broad range of biomedical questions, ranging in scale from single molecules to whole human eyes.
