Ocular Epidemiology Unit

The goals of the Ophthalmic Epidemiology Group are as follows:

To better understand the extent and scope of chronic ophthalmic conditions in the Hong Kong community
To elucidate the role of new ophthalmic investigations in classifying and grading ophthalmic conditions
To understand the impact of ophthalmic disease on society

Ultimately, we hope to generate robust evidence on ophthalmic conditions impacting the elderly of Hong Kong to help inform health policy
