Biography

Dr Sharon Chow obtained her MBBS medical degree from the University of Hong Kong and completed her Ophthalmology training in the Hospital Authority where she obtained her Fellowship in Ophthalmology with The College of Ophthalmologists of Hong Kong. Dr Chow joined the University of Hong Kong in 2020 and is currently working as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology. Dr Chow’s research interest is in eyelid and lacrimal surgeries as well as dry eye and ocular surface diseases. Dr Chow has various publications in peer reviewed journals, she has published book chapters and has delivered presentations and lectures in both local and international meetings. Dr Chow currently serves as a Council Member of the Hong Kong Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, a subcommittee of the Hong Kong Young Ophthalmologists of the Hong Kong Ophthalmological Society and the Vice President of Hong Kong Women Doctor’s Association.
