My thesis project aims to investigate the potential neuroprotective effects of rapamycin, an FDA-approved drug, in early diabetic retinopathy using Ins2Akita mice. The study aims to determine if rapamycin administration can delay the progression of experimental non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy.
